Following in the style of traditional fables and folktales, I’ve chosen to depict a number of human virtues and foibles as imaginary beings. By personifying human characteristics, my hope is to get a better understanding of my Self and the world around me. The effigies drawings began as studies for the sculptural creatures, but took on lives of their own, sometimes unrelated to their 3-D incarnations.
